David Porter, MD, Ph.D. is a graduate of Ball State University and earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr Porter also received his Ph.D in Human Bioenergetics (Sports and Exercise Physiology) from Ball State University’s internationally recognized Human Performance Laboratory. In addition to publications in scientific journals and presentations before physicians, Dr. Porter has been involved in written and spoken contributions to the NFL team physicians, American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society, American College of Sports Medicine. Dr Porter also serves as the Foot and Ankle consultant to the Indianapolis Colts, Purdue University and Butler University as well as numerous other colleges in central Indiana. Dr Porter has also been integrally involved in the care of professional athletes including the NFL, NBA and professional Ballet performers. Dr Porter was cited in April 23rd 2012 edition of Street & Smith’s Sports Business Daily Journal recognized as a leading specialist as it pertains to foot and ankle sports injuries and conditions. Dr. Allen graduated from Rowan University, attended medical school at Temple University, and completed four years of surgical residency and a fifth-year Fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center. He is board-certified in Foot Surgery and Rearfoot (Ankle) and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. By conducting numerous charitable clinics and surgical procedures for indigent patients throughout the world, and teaching and training physical therapists, the Foundation helps to support the education and care of foot and ankle patients throughout the world.
With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation pivoted its efforts from in-person to virtual education, reaching more healthcare providers and patients globally. He and his wife have also been responsible for establishing the Gunvant and Bharati Parekh College Scholarship program. Widely published, Dr. Parekh has contributed articles to various professional journals and has served as the editor for several medical textbooks. He began his path in orthopedic surgery at The University of Mississippi as an undergraduate majoring in Biology. After undergrad, he returned home to Wisconsin to obtain his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Anderson has covered the Green Bay Packers for the last six years, prior to covering the Carolina Panthers for 18 years.
